Enjoy SPA

We collaborate with Njuta Spa, located a five-minute walk from Hotel J. At Njuta Spa, the scent of aromatic oils will help you unwind. With relaxing music playing in the background, you can lean back with a cup of tea and gaze out at the water as boats glide by.

Stockholm archipelago

Experience Stockholm from the water. The beautiful archipelago consists of 30,000 islands, and many of the archipelago's excursion boats stop at Nacka Strand their way out to the archipelago.

The Spring Islands

Visit our nearest archipelago islands, Fjäderholmarna. Fjäderholmarna offers a nice taste of the archipelago for those who don't have time for more. Boats depart from Nacka Strand .

The diesel workshop

The Dieselverkstaden is a place where you can meet friends, spend time with family, gather with colleagues, or simply sit alone. Here you can read newspapers, enjoy coffee and cake, and visit art exhibitions. On weekends, there are also small concerts and performances.

Gustavsberg porcelain factory

Find bargains at Sweden's only porcelain factory. The factory manufactures genuine porcelain such as tableware and artware in bone china and stoneware. The Porcelain Museum displays a generous selection from the collections, including both unique artware and mass-produced utility porcelain.

Artipelag

Artipelag houses a large art gallery and a shop selling its own design products. There are also two restaurants, both with outdoor seating and magnificent sea views.

Photographic

Fotografiska is one of the world's largest venues for modern photography. Fotografiska presents four unique main exhibitions and around 20 smaller exhibitions each year. In addition to the large exhibition space, Fotografiska houses a book and souvenir shop, a restaurant, and a photo gallery. The bar on the top floor offers one of Stockholm's absolute best views.

Sickla shopping district

The industrial area that once existed in Sickla—whose factories now house shops, offices, schools, and cultural venues—began in the late 19th century and was one of Stockholm's first industrial areas outside the city limits. Today, the area has been transformed into a shopping district with 145 stores, countless entertainment options, and unexpected activities.

Nacka forum

Within walking distance of Hotel J is Nacka Forum, one of Sweden's largest shopping centers, offering fashion, hobbies, technology, and food. There are 150 stores, cafés, restaurants, and full services, such as a bank, health center, car wash, shoemaker, and dry cleaner. Free parking for the first 3 hours.

Siggesta Farm

Spend a day in the countryside. Here you can find bargains at the car boot sale, play adventure golf and soccer golf, eat good food, ice cream, and visit the animals and the swamp trolls!

The Taste Kingdom of Säby

Smakriket Säby is a collaboration between Säbygård, Värmdö̈ Musteri, Värmdö̈ Bryggeri, and Värmdö̈ Bränneri. Smakriket Säby is worth a visit to get a feel for how cold-pressed rapeseed oil, potatoes, apple juice, cider, Pomme de vie, beer, and Calvados are produced using traditional methods.
