Hotel J & Restaurant J is proud to present a comprehensive and engaging environmental program that has been awarded the Nordic Ecolabel. Working for a better environment is a natural part of our work, and we strive for a general environmental mindset in our daily work. To obtain the Nordic Ecolabel, it is necessary to work with environmental issues from many different perspectives. Among other things, the menus must include organic, fair trade, and locally produced food, and efforts must be made to reduce energy consumption, replace environmentally hazardous chemicals used for dishwashing and cleaning, sort waste, and reduce transportation.

About the Swan

The Swan eco-label's vision is a sustainable society with sustainable consumption. The Swan is the official eco-label of the Nordic countries. Miljömärkning Sverige (Ecolabelling Sweden) runs the program in Sweden on behalf of the government. Miljömärkning Sverige is also responsible for the EU's official eco-label, the EU Flower.
